Having been in the property industry since 2006, Lucy believes that a holistic understanding of the real estate life cycle, product knowledge and experience are her greatest strengths. The banks are constantly changing their guidelines and policies so she prides herself on keeping up to date with the ever-changing lending landscape through ongoing training. Lucy believes that her understanding nature helps clients feel comfortable talking about their personal finances and situations. Once Lucy has taken the time to get to know her clients, she focuses on ensuring their loans are structured correctly and they are capable and confident with their ongoing repayments, as everyone is different with a diverse range of goals.
Lucy was born and raised in Canberra. With an undergraduate degree in Management from the University of Canberra, a diploma in Finance and a diploma in Real Estate, Lucy comes armed with all of the technical knowledge to put you in the best financial position going forward.
If running a mortgage business doesn’t keep Lucy busy, she spends her time chasing after her two children, Alexandra and George.
Kim McGuinness began her mortgage broking career with a larger ACT finance company, experiencing the ebbs-and-flows that come with lending and the property market. To further advance her property market knowledge and interaction in the depth of its activity, she chose to become a real estate agent. This career move resulted in a positive succession of property transactions across owner-occupied, investment and off plan dealings, however the lure of the finance industry was too strong. She returned to a mortgage broking environment, joining the team at Blain Financial in 2019.
Kim has been a home owner and investor from the early age of 21 years, having experienced the emotions of searching, applying for, and eagerly awaiting the positive outcome of finance or property offer and acceptance. To say she is passionate about property and what it brings with it would be an understatement. To say she ‘get’s it’ would be on-point.
Kim is not only well-versed to help negotiate the policy pathway within the banking world, she is also hands on when negotiating for and on behalf of her Clients to assist them in achieving their desired property goals and intentions. You’ll find Kim working tirelessly, with her meticulous attention to detail to get the job done right.
Keeping busy out of the office isn’t hard for Kim, nurturing two teenage sons and a love for being social, there is absolutely no rest for the wicked. You’ll absolutely appreciate her upbeat approach to life and lending.

His career began in 2015 at a prominent hospital, where he served as an Account Payable Officer, followed by a position at an outsourcing company catering to large scale online clients in 2019.
